Wibi Soerjadi

Wibi Soerjadi, born 1970 in Leiden (Netherlands), he won first prize in the Princess Christina Concours in Den Haag and in the National Eurovision Competition for young musicians. Furthermore, he has held noted distinctions like the Echo Classik of the Deutsche Phonoakademie. Concerts have led him to leading concert halls worldwide, including Carnegie Hall in New York. Wibi Soerjadi has worked together with the most important orchestras, such as Hague Residence Orchestra, Tchaikowsky Symphony Orchestra Moscow, Gewandhausorchester Leipzig, London Philharmonic Orchestra und important conductors like Vassili Sinaisky and Evgeny Svetlanov.

In September 2003 he recorded on it this SACD with romantic masterpieces ranging from Myra Hess' Bach arrangement to Liszt's Schubert transcription as well as original works by Brahms, Mendelssohn, Schumann, Scriabin and many others.
