Finest Wood Veneers & Inlays
Our veneered instruments are small works of art – crafted with the highest level of craftsmanship, precision, and a deep appreciation for the uniqueness of wood. Each veneer sheet is carefully arranged according to grain and angle, creating a harmonious overall image defined by the wood’s natural patterns. The finishing – whether in a brilliant high gloss or a soft satin – <meta charset="UTF-8" />enhances the material’s natural beauty and embodies timeless elegance and exclusivity. Every piece reflects the richness of nature: each instrument is unique, distinguished by its warm hues and lively grain.
Walnut Veneer
The elegant walnut wood comes from walnut trees, which are mostly found in Europe, Asia, and North America. It is characterized by a warm, medium to dark brown color, often with a slight reddish sheen. The grain is usually lively and rich in contrast, with characteristic flame or cloud patterns.
Oak Veneer
Oak is a hard, durable hardwood that is native to Europe and has been used for centuries. It has a distinctive, coarse-grained texture and varies in color from light yellowish to medium brown, often with a slight olive tint. Available in polished or satin finishes – just as you prefer.
Mahogany Veneer
Mahogany is a fine tropical wood that is prized for its deep red to reddish-brown color and its characteristic uniform, fine grain with a silky sheen. It comes mainly from Central and South America and Africa and is one of the most sought-after woods.
Exclusive veneers
Artfully crafted from precious woods – nature's jewels. Exclusive, rare woods with unique grain patterns, warm radiance, and timeless beauty. They combine natural elegance with durability and lend your instrument an aura of luxury and individuality – in an elegant matte or mirror-like gloss finish.
Santos Rosewood Exclusive Veneer
Machaerium scleroxylon is a very hard, dense hardwood from South America, mainly Bolivia and Brazil. It has a light to dark brown base color with distinctive purple or black stripes and a decorative grain. Because of its beauty and durability, it is often chosen for musical instruments.
Pyramid Mahogany Exclusive Veneers
Pyramid mahogany veneer captivates with its striking pyramid-shaped grain, which is created in the radial cut of the mahogany wood. The warm, reddish-brown tones of this rare fine veneer are traditionally used for exclusive furniture, luxury interiors, and fine musical instruments, emphasizing craftsmanship perfection and timeless elegance.
Burl Walnut Exclusive Veneer
Burl walnut veneer is a decorative wood veneer obtained from the burl (root area) of the walnut tree. The irregular growth in this area creates a particularly striking, often swirling and cloud-like grain with varied color nuances ranging from warm light to deep brown. A distinctive look – warm, lively, and full of depth.
Vavona Exclusive Veneer
Vavona comes from the burls of the giant sequoia (Sequoia sempervirens). Its reddish-brown tones, sometimes shimmering golden, are enhanced by striking, cloud-like grain patterns. Traditionally used in luxurious furniture and refined interiors, this veneer exudes elegance and exclusivity.
Macassar Ebony Exclusive Veneer
Native to Indonesia, Macassar ebony is a dark, dense wood with striking brown-gold stripes. Its dramatic appearance makes it a favorite for fine furniture, luxury interiors, and distinguished musical instruments.
Inlays
Our inlaid instruments feature fine pieces of various woods, mother-of-pearl, or precious metals precisely inlaid into a surface to create delicate patterns. The high-quality craftsmanship creates harmonious color and material contrasts that are not only decorative but also timelessly elegant. The precise fit, smooth surface, and exquisite choice of materials give the instrument a distinctive look.
Pyramid Mahogany Inlay with Madrona Veneer Filling
A preferred inlay design is mahogany inlay on a mahogany-veneered instrument. Here, a dynamic, dark pyramid wood inlay is inserted into fine mahogany (outer frame) as a frame decoration. The filling areas are filled with warm, cloudy grain from madrona veneer (from the wood of the strawberry tree) to create a harmonious, calm contrast. This artistic interplay of three exquisite veneers makes each piece unique – elegant, timeless, and with an unmistakable character.
Macassar ebony with beech wood inlay line
An example of inlay lines is an instrument veneered with fine Macassar ebony, whose dark, lively grain gives it a special depth. A delicate inlay line made of light beech wood adds a subtle accent that breaks up the overall look and emphasizes the elegant shape. The harmonious interplay of dark exoticism and light clarity gives the instrument a timeless aesthetic – both powerful and delicate.
