Pavlin Nechev is a founder of the piano trio “Trio Imàge”, together with violinist Gergana Gergova and cellist Thomas Kaufmann. But he also recorded a marvelous video with the Duo „030“ (with Neda Navaee) on Bechstein. Bulgarian born pianist Pavlin Nechev gave his orchestral debut as a soloist at the age of eleven and since then concert performances have brought him all over Europe, to North and South America, to Asia and Australia.

Pavlin is founder of the piano trio "Trio Imàge", which's debut Album with the complete piano trios by Argentinian composer Mauricio Kagel has been awarded with the prestigious ECHO Klassik Award 2014 as the best world premiere recording of the year.He appeared at Festivals such as the Lockenhaus Chamber Music Fest, the Schubertiade Austria, the Verbier Festival, the Chelsea Music Festival New York, the Chopin Festival Paris, the Chennai November Fest/India, the Varna Summer Festival, the Piano Extravaganza Festival Sofia, the Herrenchiemsee Festspiele, the Festival de Mexico and performed on stages at the Konzerthaus and the Philharmonie Berlin, the Philharmonie Essen, the Frankfurt Theater, the Gürzenich Hall Cologne, the Beethoven Haus Bonn, the Bulgaria Hall Sofia and the Teatro del Lago, Chile.

Pavlin is the winner of important international piano and chamber music competitions such as “Schubert and the music of modern times” Graz, “Joseph Joachim” Weimar, Chamber Music Award Commerzbank Foundation Frankfurt, Albert Roussel Sofia, “Folkwangpreis” of the city of Essen.Amongst Pavlin Nechev’s teachers were Antoaneta Vodenicharova, Michael Roll, Andreas Reiner and Eberhard Feltz. He received further musical impulses from Menahem Pressler, Konstantin Scherbakov, Heinrich Schiff, Gabor Takács-Naggy, Anner Bylsma, Ferenz Rados, Hatto Beyerle, Shmuel Ashkenasi, Detlef Kraus, Milena Mollova, Ludmil Angelov.The work with young artists is very important for Pavlin, which becomes visible through his own teaching of master classes, and giving workshops and lectures in Germany, Bulgaria, Venezuela, India and Mexico. He was a guest teacher of the Internation Ensemble Modern Academy at the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing, China.Pavlin made records for WDR, ORF, TV5, Mezzo, Radio Deutschland, Radio Bartok, WCLV, Australian Broadcast and Bulgarian Broadcast. In 2013, he recorded with his trio works by Hans Sommer on a C. Bechstein grand piano for Deutschland Radio Kultur.
