The piano industry is alive. 3 days of networking at the Piano Congress in Warsaw

C. Bechstein was represented by talented young piano builders.

For the first time C. Bechstein took part at the Piano Congress in Warsaw. This international event consisting of meetings, lectures, seminars and concerts was a great possibility for worldwide piano tuners, manufacturers, retailers, and piano renovation companies to meet up. For C. Bechstein it was also the perfect time to present the innovation and modern solutions that were worked on over the last months.

At the exhibition space the C. Bechstein Concert C 234 grand piano was presented as well as the completely new constructed models: Academy A 190 grand piano, Concert C 6 upright piano and Academy A 4 upright piano. Also the C. Bechstein hammer heads and tube mechanics, both produced in the C. Bechstein manufactory in Seifhennersdorf, Saxony, were showcased.

What was particularly outstanding: C. Bechstein was mainly represented by talented young piano builders. Two of them, Paula Kiechle and Elia Ramm, led a practical seminar for over 100 visitors and shared valuable tips and tricks for the work with concert grand pianos. They also showed a selection of regulating and voicing techniques, which are used in C. Bechstein Pianoforte manufactory and concert service.

The main theme of the 3-day Piano Congress was: “The Grand Piano — Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow” and around 320 piano professionals and enthusiasts of all ages a wide took part in it. C. Bechstein is happy that a young and professional team was there to exchange knowledge, ideas and inspiration with valuable contacts of the piano industry.
