Sir András Schiff opts for C. Bechstein grands

The famous pianist Sir András Schiff visited the C. Bechstein Center in Berlin and selected two C. Bechstein B 212 grand pianos for the Kronberg Academy.

VIP visit at the C. Bechstein Center in Berlin: Sir András Schiff seized the opportunity to choose two C. Bechstein B 212 grand pianos for the renowned Kronberg Academy. His delightfully vibrant playing style showcased the grands in their best light.

The Kronberg Academy is an educational institution and place of inspiration for musicians of all ages. It unites outstandingly gifted young violinists, cellists and viola players with the greatest performers of our time so that the latter can impart their experience, ideas and values and help the talented youngsters blossom into great musicians. Headed by Sir András Schiff, a member of the Artistic Advisory Board of the Kronberg Academy Foundation, the Kronberg Academy is looking to train and promote more budding pianists in future, with an emphasis on chamber music.

Sir András’s words of praise just go to show that our hard work is paying off. We hope the young pianists will enjoy playing the C. Bechstein grands in Kronberg once they return from the summer break. And naturally we also wish Sir András Schiff plenty of enjoyment teaching on our instruments!
