Michel Dalberto at Salle Gaveau in Paris

Michel Dalberto recently gave a brilliant recital at Salle Gaveau in Paris, playing works by Beethoven, Franck and Fauré on a wonderful C. Bechstein D 282 concert grand piano.

Michel Dalberto, who teaches piano at the Conservatoire supérieur de musique et de danse in Paris, recently gave a brilliant recital for some seven hundred people at Salle Gaveau in the French capital city. He played works by Ludwig van Beethoven (Sonata No. 14, Op. 27, “Moonlight” and Sonata No. 23, Op. 57, “Appassionata”), César Franck (Prélude, Chorale et Fugue) and Gabriel Fauré on a C. Bechstein D 282 concert grand expertly prepared by Denijs de Winter. We congratulate the artist on this wonderful performance.

Dalberto also plays a C. Bechstein D 282 on his latest CD, released in the spring of 2017 on the Aparté label. The disc with works by Fauré was recorded live during a recital given at the Conservatoire national supérieur d’art dramatique et de danse in Paris — another great work recorded by an outstanding pianist on Bechstein.
