The International Piano Forum (IPF) in Frankfurt once again invites pianists from all over the world to submit their candidature for the International German Pianist Award 2019 with a 30-minute video of a repertoire of their choice. The aim of the award is to discover and promote outstanding pianists.
Applications will be accepted until 14 December 2018.
The final rounds and the presentation of the International German Pianist Award 2019 will take place from 30th March to 1st April at the Alte Oper Frankfurt.
The two finalists will then play Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2 and / or Brahms Piano Concerto No. 1.
The competition will be held on C. Bechstein concert grand pianos and reaches a large audience worldwide via the internet.
