Great success for Kit Armstrong in Berlin

Pianist Kit Armstrong performed four concerts at the Konzerthaus Berlin and received rapturous applause.

In May 2017 Kit Armstrong performed four times at the Konzerthaus Berlin. The concerts were part of an homage to Alfred Brendel. The pianist performed at the great hall the third piano concerto by Beethoven with the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra and Herbert Blomstedt, afterwards two times the second piano concerto by Beethoven with the Konzerthausorchester Berlin and Iván Fischer and finally at the small hall a recital with Adrian Brendel (violoncello) with works by Byrd, Bach, Schumann, Bartók and Dohnányi.

Kit Armstrong performed all concerts on a C. Bechstein grand piano D 282, serviced by C. Bechstein concert technician Torben Garlin. Kit Armstrong forceful demonstrated that he is one the most important artists not only of his generation.
