Concert in Lviv (Ukraine) celebrates the life and work of the Mozart family

Artists performed works from three Mozart generations on a C. Bechstein grand.

Every year, the city of Lviv celebrates the LvivMozArt festival to honor the life and work of Franz Xaver Mozart, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's youngest son.

The 2018 program included a concert that was dedicated to the Mozart legacy as a whole: Together with the Ukrainian festival orchestra under the baton of Vitali Alekseenok, soloists Franz Xaver Tradler, Andrii Chernov, Andriy Dragan and Khrystyna Mykhailychenko performed works from three Mozart generations.

Also on stage: A C. Bechstein grand, on which the musicians were able to show the whole range and fascination of the music that was composed during the 125 years and three generations of Mozart family composers.
