C. Bechstein Center Prague officially opened

The new C. Bechstein Center in Prague officially opened its doors on 16 May

We're so pleased to now be represented in the capital of the Czech Republic with our own C. Bechstein Center!

Besides Berlin (company headquarter) and Seifhennersdorf (C. Bechstein manufactory), the Czech Republic has been an important site to C. Bechstein for many years: Our second manufactory is located in Hradec Králové, where we build the W.Hoffmann pianos, „made in Czech Republic“. thus, opening a Center in Prague – the Czech capital and one of Europe's important culture hubs – was just logical.

The new Center was officially opened on 16 May. Attendees included not only many guests from Prague's art scene, but also many piano lovers from Prague and the surrounding region. Famous Czech pianists Ivo Kahánek, Jan Bartoš and Beata Hlavenková showcased their talent – proof of the thriving piano music scene in the Czech Republic. The guests were also welcomed by Stefan Freymuth (CEO C. Bechstein) and Ralf Dewor (member of the board).

Thank you so much to our guests, the pianists and the Czech team who have made this special day so truly memorable.

The C. Bechstein Pianocentrum Praha is now open for visitors – our colleagues in Prague are looking forward to meeting you!
