Upon the initiative of our distributor in Thailand, Mr. Kovit Jirantanakul of 101 Pianos & strings, Ms Irina Novikova and five of her most exceptional students of the highly regarded Shrewsbury International School in Bangkog visited the C. Bechstein factories in Hradec Králové and Seifhennersdorf and performed concerts in Prague and Berlin.
While in Berlin, they stopped by our showroom to play a concert for us – and we were so impressed by the incredible talent these young students showcased at only 10-13 years of age! They played works by Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, Khachaturian and Poulenc, amongst others.
His Excellency Dr. Dhiravat Bhumichitr, Thailand’s Ambassador to Germany, honoured Ms Novikova for her outstanding achievements to classical music life in Thailand. Ralf Dewor, C. Bechstein CSO / Board of Directors, also extended his greetings and his heartfelt congratulations to the group.
We certainly won’t forget this amazing day any time soon!
