Ron Maxim Huang was born in Berlin in 2001. He had his first musical experiences in the “State and Cathedral Choir” and in the children's choir of the Deutsche Oper Berlin, also as a boy soloist. At the age of nine he received his first piano lesson and at the age of ten won his first prize in the “Jugend Musiziert” competition. Ron attended the Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach Musikgymnasium and took piano lessons at the HfM Hanns Eisler with Thomas Just. At the Julius Stern Institute of the UdK Berlin, Ron was initially a junior student with Prof. Markus Groh and later his full-time student. Ron is currently studying with Prof. Björn Lehmann.
Because Ron won first prizes in national “Jugend Musiziert” competitions, he received scholarships from the Foundation "Deutsche Stiftung Musikleben", from the Carl Bechstein Foundation, the International Music Academy in the Principality of Liechtenstein, the Yehudi Menuhin LIVE MUSIC NOW, and the Hope Music Academy. Ron is also a winner of the Ettlingen International Piano Competition 2020, the 64th International Piano Competition F. Busoni 2023 and Xiamen International Piano Competition 2024.
At the age of 16, Ron Maxim made his orchestral debut with Liszt's 1st Piano Concerto in the Great Hall of the Berlin Philharmonic with the Berlin Symphony Orchestra. After this great success, he played as a soloist with the orchestras Kammerakademie Potsdam, Nis Symphony Orchestra, Wratislavia Chamber Orchestra, Neue Lausitzer Philharmonie, Orchestra Central Conservatory of Music China and Symphony Orchestra Berlin. Ron also performed at festivals such as the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival, the Brandenburg Summer Concerts, the 94th Rostock Bach Festival, the Bebersee Festival and the crescendo Festival Berlin.
As an enthusiastic chamber musician, Ron Maxim has developed several artistic projects with instrumental and vocal musicians. He played as a recital partner at the Star & Rising Stars concert in Munich with star violinist Daniel Hope and also as his guest at ARTE Concert Hope@Home, in the Hope@9pm concert series in the Konzerthaus Berlin as well as in the Frauenkirche Dresden and in Beethoven House Bonn.
To expand his musical training, Ron attended master classes with Bernd Goetzke, Daejin Kim, Pavel Gililov, Klaus Hellwig, Daniel Hope, Jacques Ammon, Milana Chernyavska, Ruben Dalibaltayan and Eldar Nebolsin, among others.
