Anthony and Joseph Paratore

Anthony and Joseph Paratore, born in Boston, studied at the University in Boston and at the Juilliard School of Music in New York with Rosina Lhevinne. In 1974 they won the first prize for piano duo at ARD's International Music Competition in Munich. Since then one of the leading piano duos, concerts in the most important halls and festivals of the world with important orchestras such as the Berlin Philharmonic, Chicago Symphony Orchestra, New York Philharmonic Orchestra and Vienna Philharmonic. Broad repertoire from Bach, Bartók, Mozart and Strawinsky to contemporary music, focus among others on Schubert and French literature. Anthony und Joseph Paratore performed in 2003 at the Jubilee Concert on the occasion of the 150th year of Bechstein's foundation.
