Alfredo Perl, born 1965 in Santiago de Chile, studied with Carlos Botto in Chile, Maria Curcio in London and Guenter Ludwig in Cologne. He has played concerts worldwide in well-known halls, such as the Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Düsseldorf Tonhalle, Alte Oper Frankfurt, Hamburg Musikhalle, Barbican Centre London, Munich Herkulessaal and Grosser Musikvereinssaal Vienna as well as at such festivals as Kissinger Sommer, Rheingau Music Festival and Schwetzinger Festival. Alfredo Perl cultivates active collaboration with international orchestras like Gewandhausorchestra Leipzig as well as London's Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and Symphony Orchestra. In 1997 Promenade Concerts in the Royal Albert Hall, London. Alfredo Perl played a performance of all Beethoven's piano concertos with the Munich Symphony in London's Wigmore Hall, Moscow, and Santiago. Recordings for BBC of Chopin's 24 preludes is available on DVD. Numerous CD recordings with Oehms Classics. Professor in Detmold. Alfredo Perl played Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 2 on the C. Bechstein grand piano of the Berlin Philharmonic.
