The International Piano Festival La Roque d’Anthéron has existed for almost 40 years. Hardly any pianist of standing did not appear on one of the stages around the picturesque grounds of the Château de Florans during this time, so that the small town in the south of France has long been a meeting place for pianists and classical music lovers from all over the world every summer. This year's festival takes place from August 1st to 21st - and again there is a varied program with soloists and ensembles of high profile.
We are very proud that C. Bechstein's concert grand pianos play a permanent role on the various festival stages in La Roque. This year, for example, the young French-Israeli pianist Gabriel Stern, the Cuban newcomer Jorge Gonzalez Buajasan and the internationally known performer Kit Armstrong each chose Bechstein instruments for their performances.
