"The Best of Five," was the aim of this selection and Kit Armstrong chose a wonderfully lyrical instrument, which impresses with great dynamics and excellent transparency.
Dietmar Kerschbaum, chairman of the Brucknerhaus Linz, enjoyed the intense selection and was delighted with the new C. Bechstein grand piano, which will be delivered to Linz in August.
Kit Armstrong will soon return to play the excellent instrument: on April 13, 2019, he will perform Liszt's "Totentanz" with the Bruckner Orchestra Linz under conductor Jérémie Rhorer. In addition, a series of five C. Bechstein piano recitals is planned for the 2019/2020 season at the Brucknerhaus.
