C. Bechstein’s „Everyone who knows“ campaign is an homage to the brand’s noble simplicity and its unique, sought after sound – the Sound of Excellence. The intimate relationship between a musician and her piano is beautifully captured by the exceptional Georgian piano talent Irma Gigani.

Filmed in a former Viennese laboratory, lovingly transformed by renowned Italian architect Vincenzo de Cotiis and part of the AD magazine, the video centres around two C. Bechstein pianos from the popular Academy line (A 190 and A 6), whose warm and lyrical sound is a testament to their place at the heart of culture.
Inside Story: background and details
Once a child prodigy, Irma has a close bond to the Berlin piano manufacture. She was the winner of the first C. Bechstein – Bruckner competition in Linz, Austria and played iconic locations such as the quarters of the Pontifical Swiss Guard in the Vatican City or the Nice Opera for UNESCO.
Both the location and the pianists looks by the iconic Japanese fashion house Issey Miyake underline C. Bechstein’s characteristic design elements and make them a display of art de vivre: fusion of tradition and technology, a universal and minimalistic approach and the combination of sustainability and efficiency.
