C. Bechstein supports the summer piano academy Klaipėda Piano Masters 2020

Klaipėda Piano Masters 2020 invites pianists from all over the world to receive knowledge and training while discovering the beauty of Samogitia and the Baltic Sea.

In 13 days the students will be provided with varied and intensive programme including individual piano lessons with the renowned international pianist Gintaras Januševičius, a concert tour in Samogitia (Klaipėda, Kretinga, Palanga, Plungė, Plateliai), lectures and discussions, focused on stage presence, recital programming, presentation, self-promotion, public relations, and performance psychology, taught by prominent artists, teachers, TV hosts, and professional managers.

The course also includes massage and physical training based on dance, yoga, Pilates exercise and Alexander technique, as well as leisure activities, including the prominent Lithuanian Sea Festival 2020. All lessons and lectures of KPM 2020 will take place at the Eduardas Balsys Gymnasium of Arts. Piano lessons will be performed on a C. Bechstein C234 Grand Piano. Participants will be provided with shared practice facilities and rehearsal space 24 hours per day. Every pianist gets to perform on at least three recitals. Best students of the editions will receive paid concert engagements in Lithuania and Germany as well as scholarships to attend partner academies.
