In 2019, the festival under the artistic directorship of young Ukrainian conductor Oksana Lyniv takes place fromvom 3 to 11 August.
The programm consists of 20 concerts and events, with artists such as Sunnyi Melles, Valery Sokolov, Pumeza Matshikiza and of course Oksana Lyniv herself performing. The festival also places itself squarely in city and among its residents, by way of street performances and concerts in unsual locations such as a tram depot.
C. Bechstein is proud to support the young, yet artistically outstanding festival. Besides our general partnership with the the festival, we sponsor one of the 2019 concerts in particular, namely that of Ukrainian pianist Kateryna Titova. Together with the Orchester INSO-Lviv and the Galician chamber choir under the baton of Oksana Lyniv, the young artist plays works by Skoryk, Barvinsky and Hrabovsky.
