Sivan Silver and Gil Garburg set new standards in the great, often underestimated art of piano duo: the two artists fire audiences and critics alike with enthusiasm, while famous orchestras and leading concert and festival organizers regularly extend invitations to the pair.
The Silver-Garburg duo has performed in about seventy countries on the five continents, alone or with such famous ensembles as the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, the Saint Petersburg Philharmony or the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen.
In 2014, Graz University of the Arts appointed Silver and Garburg to one of the world’s few chairs for piano duo. The two artists had previously taught at the Hanover Conservatory, where they had studied under Arie Vardi until 2007.
