The young swiss pianist Luisa Sereina Splett goes her own way.  Luisa Splett studied under Karl-Andreas Kolly at the Zurich conservatory and Yelena Scherbakova in Santiago de Chile, where she completed her Master’s degree with a top distinction. After her postgraduate studies in Saint Petersburg under Oleg Malov, she has been performing worldwide since 2009. She also wrote a dissertation on the Swiss pianist and composer Emil Frey, prior to embark on a PhD at Berlin’s University of the Fine Arts in 2015.

During the C. Bechstein concert Luisa Splett performs works by Skrjabin, Frey and Schubert.
