Jonas Aumiller, born in Munich, has earned an outstanding reputation for his playing, which is characterized by great musical refinement, lyrical depth, and the finest nuances. He curates programs that often feature his own transcriptions of organ and orchestral works. Aumiller’s awards include first prize at the 3rd International Brahms Competition, silver at the 12th Hamamatsu Piano Competition, audience prizes in Sendai, and the Raymond E. Buck Jury Discretionary Award at the 17th Van Cliburn International Piano Competition. In 2025, he was the only German pianist to compete at the XIX International Chopin Competition in Warsaw. He has performed in Europe, Japan, and the United States, including with the Northwest German Philharmonic, the Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano, the Sendai Philharmonic, and the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra. Highlights included performances at Bellevue Palace, the Bologna Festival, the Verbier Festival Academy, and the Bagno Concert Gallery. He studied with Massimiliano Mainolfi in Trento, graduating summa cum laude, and with Sergei Babayan at the Juilliard School and the Cleveland Institute of Music, where he received his Artist Diploma in 2024.
