The young pianist Daniel Ciobanu is to perform works by great Russian composers during a C. Bechstein recital held at Berlin’s Konzerthaus on April 5, 2019.

DANIEL CIOBANU’s international career began when he won the silver medal at the 2017 Arthur Rubinstein Competition held in Tel Aviv. One year before, he won First Prize at the BNDES International Piano Competition held in Brazil. Daniel studied in Scotland and Paris under Aaron Shorr, Steven Osborne and Marian Rybicki and currently studies under Pascal Devoyon at the University of the Arts in Berlin. He has performed with great ensembles (Chapelle musicale de Tournai, Orchestre philharmonique du Maroc, Royal Scottish National Orchestra), given recitals in numerous countries and toured China playing on a C. Bechstein D 282 concert grand piano.
