Anna Geniushene (born 1991) made her recital debut at the Berlin Philharmonie at the age of seven. She studied at the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory with Elena Kuznetsova and continued her studies at the Royal Academy of Music with Christopher Elton, where she earned her Master’s degree and Advanced Diploma with honors in 2018. A prize winner at major competitions, including Leeds, Tchaikovsky, and Busoni, she won the silver medal at the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition in 2022. Her performances have taken her to major concert halls in Europe, the Americas, and Asia—including the Elbphilharmonie—and to festivals such as the Klavier-Festival Ruhr and Chopin and His Europe. She has performed with orchestras such as the Atlanta Symphony, Osaka Philharmonic, Stavanger Symphony, and Taipei Symphony under conductors including Nathalie Stutzmann, Miguel Harth-Bedoya, Eliahu Inbal, and Marin Alsop. In addition to her concert career, she is actively involved in teaching, gives master classes, and served as an assistant professor at the Moscow Conservatory. Her recordings have been released on LINN Records and Alpha Classics, most recently the duo album “Hallelujah Junction” and her solo album “Opus 1.”
