Alfredo Perl - Pure Beethoven

On January 30, 2026, Allfredo Perl takes a new look at Ludwig van Beethoven at the C. Bechstein Piano Recital at the Konzerthaus Berlin and presents the Sonatas op. 90, op. 101 and op. 81a, Twelve Variations and Seven Bagatelles.

Born in Chile in 1965, Alfredo Perl studied first in his home country and later in Cologne and London. As a winner of major competitions, he soon became one of the leading pianists of his generation. Performances in renowned concert halls such as the Concertgebouw Amsterdam, the Großer Musikvereinssaal and Konzerthaus Vienna, the Herkulessaal Munich, the Tokyo Opera City, the Teatro Colón Buenos Aires, the Sydney Opera House, the Konzerthaus and Philharmonie Berlin, the Gewandhaus Leipzig and many others testify to Perl's artistic standing. He is also a welcome guest at renowned festivals such as the Schwetzingen Festival, the Rheingau Music Festival, the Beethovenfest Bonn and the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival. He has performed with orchestras such as the London Symphony and Royal Philharmonic Orchestras, the Gewandhausorchester Leipzig, the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, and the Melbourne and Sydney Symphony Orchestras. Adding to his extensive discography, he is currently recording the complete Beethoven piano works for the audite label.
