One of the most renowned musical instrument fairs in the world, Music China Shanghai, ended successfully on October 30, 2020. Once again, the world's most important instrument manufacturers were guests - including C. Bechstein with a spacious exhibition stand extending over two floors.
The entire product range of all C. Bechstein brands was presented, including masterful pianos and grand pianos from German and European production. The professional audience could not only be inspired by the handcrafted musical masterpieces, but also get to know product innovations such as the C. Bechstein VARIO digital system.
The highlight of C. Bechstein's presence at the trade fair, however, was the "Silver Voice Grand Piano" - a B 212 grand piano worth 3.988 million yuan! During months of work, the master silversmiths from Robbe & Berking and the master piano makers from C. Bechstein merged their craftsmanship perfectly in the manufacture of this dream grand piano. Over six kilograms of silver were processed in total. Even the soundboard of the valuable salon grand was painted silver and the matching grand piano bench was refined with silver.
This masterpiece, created for generations as a feast for the eyes and ears, was shown for the first time in China at Music China Shanghai 2020 and quickly developed into a coveted photo motif at the fair.
