Filippo Gorini won the “International Telekom Beethoven Competition Bonn”, where he also received the audience prize in both the semifinal and final rounds. At only twenty, he is one of the foremost talents of his generation, having played on such prestigious stages as the Laeiszhalle (Hamburg), Herkulessaal (Munich), Konzerthaus (Berlin), Liederhalle (Stuttgart), Die Glocke (Bremen), Beethovenhalle (Bonn),Teatro La Fenice (Venice), the Royal Palace of Warsaw, the Royal Academy of Music in London, and the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory. The concerts he gave throughout Europe after his success in Bonn, in particular on the occasion of Warsaw’s Ludwig van Beethoven Festival and during his tour with the Klassische Philarmonie Bonn, where highly acclaimed by both critics and the public.
Filippo Gorini achieved a bachelor degree in piano performance cum laude at the G. Donizetti Conservatory in Bergamo, where he keeps studying under Maria Grazia Bellocchio. He has also attended master classes by renowned pianists such as Pavel Gililov, Andrei Gavrilov, Alexander Lonquich, Peter Donohoe and Cristopher Elton.
His repertoire ranges from Baroque music to contemporary composers such as Stockhausen, Boulez and Adés. He also performed chamber music with Steven Isserlis during the 2016 edition of the Chamber Music Connects the World festival held in Kronberg.
Besides his success in Bonn, he also won first prize at the Neuhaus Competition in Moscow and was the laureate at several Italian national competitions.
