Bernd Goetzke, born 1951 in Hanover, has as piano instructor succeeding Karl-Heinz Kämmerling acquired an outstanding reputation. As early as 13-year-old Bernd Goetzke started studying at the Music University Hanover. He completed his is concert examinations with Karl-Heinz Kämmerling. Numerous prizes at international competitions (among others Athens, Brussels, Epinal, Milan and Paris); instruction contacts with Cludio Arrau and Wilhelm Kempff, year long collaboration with Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli. Bernd Goetzke has great credit for promoting youth; Founding IFF (Institut zur Früh-Förderung musikalisch Hochbegabter). Juror of large international competitions.
Bernd Goetzke is professor at the Universitiy for Music and Theatre Hanover. In 2005 in Berlin he gave a concert on Bechstein and ascertained: "This Bechstein was for me totally new, the piano recital was an exciting expecition, a very beautiful instrument!"
