Cansu Tanrıkulu is an award-winning composer/vocalist based in Berlin. With her advanced technique, flexibility and wide stylistic vocabulary as a multilingual vocalist Tanrıkulu is an active performer, co-composer and a recording artist in multiple innovative projects. She has collaborated and performed with prominent artists including Tobias Delius, Jim Black, Tom Arthurs, Elias Stemeseder, Max Andrzejewski, Michael Schiefel, Andreas Schmidt and Julia Hülsmann. In September 2017 she has recorded with James Banner's Quartet and will be touring in Germany following the release of his debut album in October 2018 on the Cologne-based label JazzHausMusik. With her new quartet "Tanrıkulu's A Priori" she has received a performance in Karnaval der Kulturen and will be playing frequently around Berlin and Germany in the following months.

Declan Forde: Academic Background: B.A. (Hons) First Class. Leeds College of Music. Graduated 2013. Performance Background: Performs with Greg Cohen in duo and trio, John Hollenbeck in trio and Tobias Delius trio and quartet in Berlin. Performed as part of a tour with Norwegian Duo Vilde&Inga plus James Banner in 2016. Supported John Taylor in Leeds, UK 2015. Have toured with UK with the National Youth Jazz Orchestra of Scotland (2011) and quartet Scaffolding (2012). Have performed at A Trane, B Flat, Zig Zag and Donau115 in Berlin (2014-present). Toured and performed with Rachel Sermanni at various points 2010-2016. Young Scottish jazz musician of the year finalist 2016 Other Projects: FROG - Collaborative Project with Bassist James Banner and Violinist Fabiana Striffler. Delius/Forde/Banner/Andrzejewski - Collaborative quartet playing improvised music as well as the music of Herbie Nichols The Far East Trio - Collaborative trio with Bassist Sidney Werner and Drummer Aidan Lowe. James Banner is a musician based between Berlin and the UK, performing and working as a musician, educator and composer. Original projects include USINE - recipients of a studio award from the Berlin Senate in 2017 - and Voices of Berlin (www.voicesofberlin.de), an adventurous choral project which was awarded a scholarship from Berlin’s UdK 2018. He also co-curates a monthly series at Berlin’s Donau115 (voted “one of the best jazz clubs in Europe” by The Guardian) with Practically Married. He has performed at festivals and venues across the UK and Europe with a variety of artists, and as an educator in the UK leads workshops for Jazzlines and Leeds College of Music. He is also composer in residence for the award-winning creative enterprise Make The Paint Dance.

Max Andrzejewski is a 31 year old drummer and composer, living in Berlin. „…one of the most famous drummers in Berlin and around.“ (Tobias Richtsteig) His energetic musical work between Jazz, Rock, Improvised Music and contemporary composition brings him all over Germany and the world, and appears on numerous albums on Traumton, Act, Pirouet, Wizmar, Unit, Jazzhaus, NWog, Whyplayjazz. He studied drums at MHS Cologne and JIB Berlin. His own band HÜTTE won one of the biggest German Jazz Prices (Neuer Deutscher Jazzpreis 2013) and on top of it, Max also won the Soloist Price. The latest HÜTTE album features a 13piece choir and is highly regarded by the international press. His other main projects is his Rock duo PRANKE and Expressway Sketches. Max composes contemporary music and works with the renown director Ersan Mondtag at Thalia Theater Hamburg, Münchner Kammerspiele, Schauspiel Frankfurt a.o. Max was on tour in Aserbaijan, Israel, Russia, Cuba, USA, Czech, Portugal, Italy, Netherlands, Egypt, Austria, Serbia, Switzerland, Poland, Qatar.
