To avoid damaging the finish and affecting the sound, do not place any objects on the piano. Any vessels containing liquids—vases, glasses, bottles, etc.—and any hot objects or flames must be kept away from the piano at all times. Please do not try to clean or inspect the interior of your instrument. Such measures should be left to qualified piano technicians. If any object falls into your piano, please contact your local dealer or technician for help. Foreign objects could damage your instrument or impair its sound quality. Water spilled into a piano is an absolute emergency. You should call a technician immediately and remove as much water as you can using an absorbent cloth in the meantime. Do not use heat!
