The 2nd C. Bechstein Competition for students of the Robert Schumann Academy Düsseldorf will take place on April 18th.

2007 | USA

March 30-31, 2007: C. Bechstein sponsors "The first international Fulbright Concerto Competition for Pianists". Presented by the North Arkansas Symphony Orchestra, the City of Fayetteville, and the J.W. Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences. 12 contestants (ages 18 to 28) will be selected to perform in the semifinals, consisting of a 45 minute solo recital open to the public. Of these, three laureates will be selected to compete in the finals: a performance of a piano concerto with the North Arkansas Symphony Orchestra on their subscription series. 2007 | Germany

C. Bechstein supports several noted Academies of Music. The “C. Bechstein Piano Competition for Baden-Württemberg Conservatories” takes place in Tübingen from January 4 to 7, 2007. It is open exclusively to piano students and preschool students from the academies of music in Freiburg, Karlsruhe, Mannheim, Stuttgart and Trossingen.
